The beauty of Greenwich is that there really are so many options and truly something for everyone. I've lived here for five years and haven't ever ventured to the Hillcrest Park section of Old Greenwich. This week, I went to a price opinion and found a lovely neighborhood. As I mentioned in my Mid-Country Musings post, 6 million can get you new construction in mid-country, but in Hillcrest Park there are some fabulous new construction homes that are more attainable but offer a lot of the same perks. Proximity to OG, North Mianus school district, and a great family friendly neighborhood. I'm self-describing Hillcrest Park as the mid-country of Old Greenwich.
Personally, I love Old Greenwich. I love the beachy vibes, the casual feeling, and the salt water breeze when you walk through town. I love that on nice days, the sidewalks are packed with people walking, kids scooting, and strollers everywhere. I love the restaurants whether it be a casual breakfast at Sweet Pea's or a date night with my husband to Le Fat Poodle. To me it's the perfect escape from reality - a mini vacation only minutes away from home.
